Faculty Profile

Mr. Farhan Mallick has been associated with the TV news industry since its beginning in 2001.Working his way up from an internship to the prestigious post of Director News in a span of nine years; he understands the complete functions of a news channel. He has also worked for international news organizations as ITN News UK besides Geo News, CNBC and SAMAA TV in Pakistan. But it has not all been sunshine and rainbows he has had his share of failures as well and that is what he calls the best experience of his life. His approach towards work and life is simple, let us make every tomorrow better than today by cultivating human potential everywhere we go!

Course Description

The course gives you an insight to the professional world of Journalism and lives of reporters and editors. The most important question of the field is what makes a good news story? The instructor will not only answer that but will also discuss how to write one. The course addresses qualities of good feature writing, opinion writing and investigative reporting. Discussion and peer review will stimulate understanding of the contemporary world of journalism.
